Welcome to Mansfield Cares

The Mansfield Cares Clinic has provided free medical care on a part-time basis for the Mansfield in-need community for the last four years. The Linda Nix Family Caring Place, under the direction of Drs. Wendy Collini and Barry Cole, will provide medical, dental, and optical care on a full-time basis.

Who We Are

Mansfield Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to provide help to the economically challenged citizens of the Mansfield area. Since our goal is to be the “safety net” of Mansfield, we work with various local charities by providing monetary funds to meet needs they cannot. As Mansfield continues to grow, so will the numbers of citizens in need.

5,000 Books

5,000 books were sorted last night at First United Methodist, packed up and sent out to the food pantries to be passed out to children this summer. Mansfield Cares was on the scene, with Ambassador Dee Lemser signing people up to help with the program all summer. Way to go Common Ground! Thanks for letting us be a part of what you do for this community!

Unloading Books Today

FUMC View from Above

We need help today (Wednesday) unloading and sorting books at First United Methodist Church, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, for the Feed the Kids for Summer program. Kids won't just get food this summer, they'll get to check out books and feed their brains and imaginations. Need help unloading at 3 p.m. and sorting at 6 p.m. Please come if you can help. Children are welcome to help, as long as they can read and help sort books!

Yoga in the Park

Come and play outdoors in nature. Enjoy inverting, reverting and melting into the ground. Join us for a family friendly, playful practice. Join us and donate what you can (canned food) to "Feed the Kids for Summer". This event is open to ages 5 and up. We'll gather at Towne Park in the Large Pavillion tonight, 6:30-7:30. gratitudeyogotexas.com
