Through our partnership together, they are able to make a difference in the lives of students and their families in our MISD community. Co-President and Chief Operations Officer Jeff Doolin shared with us recently why they have chosen to partner with us in making a difference here in Mansfield.
“I and our Legendz Way Team are proud to support Mansfield Cares. We believe that our community’s future strength begins with strong support for the children who need a little help and encouragement.
Mansfield Cares is a unique organization that financially supports the children of Mansfield in many ways. Legendz Way supports Mansfield Cares so they can assist in providing support with specific projects like “Shoes provided during the MISD Back to School Bash, “Feed The Kids Program”, “grocery vouchers for the Angel Tree families”, “hygiene Kits for MISD students” and other Mansfield organizations like “The Mansfield food pantries” and “MISD Scholarships” just to name a few.”
And we think that Co-President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Muzyka summed it up so well and so simply:
“Mansfield Cares supporters help fill the gaps of need for the kids.”
That’s exactly what we try to do. We help local charities in Mansfield “fill in the gaps” for what our kids and students need in our community. And we could only do that when partners like Legendz Way stand in the gap with us.
