Thank you to Mouser Electronics for your generous donation to Mansfield Cares.
Their community service goes beyond robotics or electronic components. They have also been a long-time supporter of charities and non-profits through Mansfield Cares.
Under its sponsorship with Mansfield Cares, Mouser has supplied 3,500 kids, with food bags through our partnership with Common Ground Network, Feed the Kids program.
They have donated to give over 330 kids shoes they needed in our Mansfield Independent School District.
They have given to support all of our community food pantries, like the Harvesting in Mansfield Center, which helps assist with food for families in need.
Most recently, Mansfield Cares is supplying hygiene items to MISD students in need through our partnership with Common Ground. Mouser has helped provide approximately 1,000 hygiene kits to students in need just this year.
They have contributed as key sponsors of our Annual Charity Ball, our annual fundraiser that accounts for the majority of funds we’re able to distribute to local charities throughout the year.
Mouser Electronics is a global distributor of electronic components, with over 5 million datasheets comprised in their huge digital catalog. They originated in California and relocated their headquarters to Mansfield back in 1983, expanding into over 70 acres of land, with more development continuing to take place.
They are part of Berkshire Hathaway’s family of companies. Though their industry and company have changed over the years, their commitment to community service has never wavered. In 2013 they were awarded the top Electronics Choice Industry Award for Community Activism – Social or Educational Cause, from the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) for their support of the FIRST Robotics Competition among high school students.
